'Australia's most expensive natural disaster'

The Australian govt has claimed that the floods that swamped a major city could be the country's most expensive natural disaster ever. Water seeped into the streets of rural communities in Victoria putting 600 homes at risk and causing more destruction.

 Prime Minister Julia Gillard has also announced the formation of a business task force to assist with rebuilding devastated infrastructure in the worst-affected state.
